Houtbosloop
Timber Products (PTY) LTD was officially founded on
July the 1st 2003. Before the conversion to a (PTY) LTD, the
company was established and managed by entrepreneur Johan Jordaan
for a duration of 24 years.
Houtbosloop Timber Products is not a dealer of wood products,
it is a producer of fine wood products, as such we carry a limited
stock of finished products on our premises and we then work
on the basis of orders placed. This procedure allows clients
to reap the benefits of getting the products at a much lower
rate to those of merchants in the wood industry. We produce
the products and deliver it directly to the public, thus it
inevitably works out cheaper.
With
regards to our production, approximately 50% of our produce
per year is sourced directly from our plantations; the other
50% is sourced from other plantations and/or timber merchants.
The last couple of years, however, our main source have been
SAFCOL.
Our wood products are SABS approved,
for us on the other hand, the SABS stamp of approval indicates
the minimum requirements needed to pass the test of a good
product. We try our best to improve on all our products in
order for it to be the best that it can be (our slogan says;
the source of fine wood products, we like to think of it as
exactly that). If we are not
100% satisfied then the product doesn’t go out.
We have the abilities to deliver anywhere
in South Africa and we pride ourselves with our abilities
to analyze the logistics of any situation and to adapt to
it. |
